Where experts are scarce, AI is starting to extend their reach
The World Bank estimates that AI could meaningfully boost productivity in 16.2% of jobs in developing economies, while 4.5% are at risk of automation. Some of the most interesting opportunities involve relatively small AI systems extending medical, educational, agricultural and public-service expertise.
